City rejects estimate for proposed downtown parking lot





    Police Report

    Missing Person--Feb. 22, 10:59 a.m. on Belvale Drive. A person came into the police station to report that the couple's 26-year-old son has been missing since October.

    Commercial Burglary--Feb. 22, 7:03 a.m. on Los Gatos Boulevard. An unknown person broke into a business through the rear entrance and took computer equipment.

    Vandalism--Feb. 21, 9:43 p.m. on Los Gatos Boulevard. The tires of three vehicles parked in a restaurant parking lot were slashed.

    Arrest--Feb. 21, 2:45 p.m. on Shannon Road. A 31-year-old woman and her boyfriend followed a man to his residence and then tried to provoke a fight. Police arrived and discovered the boyfriend had a warrant out for his arrest.

    Vandalism--Feb. 21, 1:13 p.m. on Escobar Avenue. A man reported his vehicle was egged overnight for the third time. He told police he believes the people responsible are unhappy about the way he parks his car.

    Auto Burglary--Feb. 21, 11:08 a.m. on Bachman Avenue. A resident reported their vehicle was broken into during the night, and the car stereo was taken.

    Theft--Feb. 21, 9:05 a.m. on Forrest Avenue. A woman reported a bag of scuba gear was taken from her driveway after being left unattended for five minutes.

    Suicide Attempt--Feb. 20, 5:34 p.m. on Harwood Road. A resident called to report an adult had taken 40 Valium pills. The person was conscious and breathing and was taken to Good Samaritan hospital for treatment.

    Auto Burglary--Feb. 20, 8:51 p.m. on University Avenue. A Ford truck was broken into and a tool box and a drill were taken.
