Police Report

Drunk in public--Feb. 16, 4:25 a.m., on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. A man wearing a cowboy hat and boots was walking through a store; an employee thought he was intoxicated. Police contacted the man and arrested him for public drunkenness.

Alarm--Feb. 16, 10:49 a.m. on Dardanelli Lane. Police responded to a commercial alarm and discovered a squirrel in the building had set it off.

Driving under the influence--Feb. 17, 1:46 a.m., on Saratoga-Los Gatos Road. Following a traffic stop, police arrested a woman for DUI.

Juvenile disturbance--Feb. 18, 4:27 p.m., on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. A group of teenagers was skateboarding in a shopping center lot. Police counseled them and sent them on their way. Police also discovered there was no sign in this lot stating that skateboarding was not allowed.

Suspicious people--Feb. 20, 7:35 p.m. on Los Gatos Boulevard. A caller reported three men hanging around some pay phones for about an hour. Police contacted the men and sent them on their way.
