    Spring Coaches

High school coaches are reminded to send us their spring sports schedules, rosters and completed questionnaires so that we can begin coverage of the 2000 season.

Packets were faxed to athletic directors at area high schools, and they were asked to distribute the information to the spring coaches. So far, only a few have been returned.

Respond quickly so that athletes can begin getting recognition for their achievements. Fax in your sports information to 408.354.3917, or call Dick Sparrer at 408.978.9665.

    Volleyball Signups

The United States Youth Volleyball League is currently holding registration for the upcoming spring seasons in San Jose, Los Gatos and Morgan Hill.

The instructional league is for boys and girls ages 8-14, and registration runs through March 10 for the eight-week season that begins in late April. The cost of $90 includes a uniform top and equipment.

    For more information, call 888.988.7985.
