Business Briefs Website design is recognized
Los Gatos-based Patrick Mountain Advertising received the Digital Design and Illustration Award earlier this year from Print, America's Graphic Design Magazine, for the outstanding design of the agency's website at www.mountainadv.com. PMA is a 20-year-old marketing communications firm run by president Patrick Mountain.
Sheri Lewis returns from conference
Sheri Lewis, executive director of the Town of Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce, returned in February from the Western Association of Chamber Executives annual conference in Burlingame.
The annual, three-day event supports the mission of WACE, which is to enhance and promote the professional growth and competence of Chamber of Commerce executives. This year's conference explored trends and strategies to help executives handle an environment of continuous change.
Images of Nature wins awards
Thomas D. Mangelsen's Images of Nature wall calendar took home the Gold Award from the 1999 National Calendar Awards, a competition held by the Calendar Marketing Association in Naperville, Ill. Mangelsen also received a merit award for his Images of Nature desk calendar.
