    Muriel Cameron- Wyndham

Los Gatan Muriel Cameron-Wyndham died Jan. 22 at Starcrest Care Home in Campbell at the age of 99.

Born Nov. 15, 1899, in New York, N.Y., Cameron-Wyndham and her late husband, Gene, moved to California in 1965 to be closer to her family. Gene died in 1976. Her only daughter, Janet, died in 1985. According to grandson Brad Ventres, Cameron-Wyndham possessed a "unique strength of will" and independence that allowed her to take care of herself until the age of 98.

She is survived by grandson Brad Ventres of Los Gatos. Memorial services have been held.
