Performers from area dance schools kick up their heels on St. Patrick's Day

In Listowel West, otherwise known as Los Gatos, the gang at C. B. Hannegan's is preparing for the annual St. Patrick's Day bash. The annual event has become a Los Gatos tradition, with Los Gatans rubbing shoulders with dignitaries from the town's sister city of Listowel, as well as with dignitaries from Dublin, who are in the area for festivities in San Jose--Dublin's sister city. Traditional Irish food and music will be featured. And with the growing popularity of Irish dancing, due in large part to the Riverdance phenomenon, there's also no shortage of Irish dancing this St. Patrick's Day.   More
