Former kindergarten teacher wins state's top award
California Kindergarten Association honors Saratoga native Anna Rainville
|
When people talk about Anna Rainville, they tend to talk in superlatives. They use the word "incredible" a lot, interlaced with "fabulous" and "wonderful." The California Kindergarten Association calls her the best kindergarten teacher in the state. Rainville was presented with the Audrey Sanchez Award at the association's conference early this year, an award that names her as the best in the state. Paradoxically, the top of the line is not teaching kindergarten this year. She's now teaching second grade at the Waldorf School in Los Altos. Up until the last two years, though, the Saratoga native taught kindergarten at Lakeside School, and had for 13 years.
