    Youth sports camps, soccer registration coming up in April

    Jorge Espinoza of the New England Revolution is in the area to host a pair of spring soccer camps for youth soccer players ages 6-16.

    The first camp was slated for April 1-5 and the second will be held next week, April 8-12, at the Campbell Community Center field. Sessions will be held 9-11:30 a.m. and 1-3:30 p.m. The cost is $100 per player, per session. For information, call Tom Morman at 408.872.3114.

    Baseball Camps

    Santa Clara University will hold youth baseball camps for Little League-age players April 9-11 and April 16-18. The camps will cover hitting, pitching and defense. The cost for the camps, which will run from 9 a.m. to noon, is $100. For more information, call 650.207.8665.

    Youth Soccer

    The Los Gatos United Soccer League will hold sign-ups for boys and girls ages 5-16 interested in playing in the 2002 fall season on April 23 and 29 and May 2, 6:30-9 p.m. each night, in the cafeteria at Fisher Middle School.
