Attempted burglary--March 28, 8:40 a.m. on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. Someone attempted to pry open a rear door, causing extensive damage to the door. Police took a report.
Noisy animal--March 28, 9:54 p.m. at Blossom Hill Road and Leigh Avenue. A caller complained that a dog had been barking for hours. Police left a note for the dog's owners.
Drunk in public--March 29, 4:45 p.m. on Los Gatos Boulevard. A customer had been showing up drunk at a business for several days. He fell asleep there and later fell down in the lobby. Police arrested him for public drunkenness.
Neighborhood disturbance--March 29, 10:03 p.m. on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. Three motorcyclists had been cruising up and down the street for 15 minutes. Police said they would be on the lookout.
Disturbance--March 30, 12 a.m. on Milbrae Lane. A woman complained of being harassed by her neighbors now and in the past. Police gave advice.
Reckless driving--March 30, 2:05 p.m. on Vista Del Monte. A white sports car with two teenagers inside almost hit the caller as it sped by. Police did not locate the car.
Grand theft--March 30, 2:52 p.m. on W. Main Street. A bronze sculpture valued at $600 was stolen earlier in the day. Police took a report.
Vicious animal--March 31, 8:44 p.m. on Farm Hill Way. A neighbor's dog had the caller's husband cornered in his car. The dog had previously bitten children in the area. Police notified Animal Control, which contacted both parties and took a report.
Suspicious vehicle--March 31, 9:55 p.m. on Sierra Azule Court. Two cars were parked at the end of a cul-de-sac. Police contacted the sightseers and sent them on their way.
Possible fire--March 31, 10:24 p.m. on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. A caller reported an electrical fire under a fish tank. Police transferred the call to the Central Fire District.
Disturbance--April 1, 11:14 a.m. on S. Santa Cruz Avenue. A heavy-set man with a beard and baseball cap was harassing and panhandling people. Police sent him on his way.
Malicious mischief--April 2, 12:22 a.m. on Forrest Avenue. Someone let the air out of the caller's car's tires and broke all the car's mirrors. Police took a report.
