Residential burglary--April 2, 7:55 p.m., on Westchester Drive. The caller, who is taking care of a vacationing neighbor's house, discovered the house was broken into through the garage and ransacked. Police took a report.
Theft--April 3, 8:46 p.m., on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. A woman left her black purse on a restaurant table, went to her car and returned to find her purse gone. Police took a report.
Neighborhood disturbance--April 4, 3:30 a.m., on El Olivar. The caller complained of a very noisy party. Police contacted and counseled the party-goers, who quieted down.
Driving under the influence--April 5, 12:01 a.m., at W. Main Street and N. Santa Cruz Avenue. Following a traffic stop, police arrested a man for DUI.
Escort--April 5, 7:33 p.m., on Blossom Hill Road. The caller asked police to walk her to her car because of a suspicious person who was knocking on the door of her office earlier. Police escorted her.
Malicious mischief--April 6, 7:43 a.m., on Newell Avenue. Someone threw eggs and soda cans at the caller's house overnight; the caller has an idea who the suspect might be. Police gave advice and will give the area extra patrol checks.
Malicious mischief--April 6, 10:01 a.m., on Newell Avenue. A neighbor of the 7:43 a.m. caller discovered that eggs were thrown at the garage door and an apple and nectarine were thrown at the front door some time overnight. Police gave advice.
