Schaub & Company is turning 25
Jack Schaub of Schaub & Company, 1 University Ave. in Los Gatos, celebrated his 25th anniversary in business on April 1 with a party for friends and clients.
Schaub, who began his career in 1968 working for Lockheed, opened his business on April 1, 1977, and has been in Los Gatos since 1985.
He participates in volunteer work for The Tech Museum, the Career Action Center and Saratoga schools.
Smith Alder's anniversary
The mother-daughter team, Paula and Jessica Alder, is celebrating five years of ownership of Smith Alder, specializing in fine clothing, art and jewelry in Los Gatos. Smith Alder is located behind the Opera House, its second year at that location.
Paula and Jessica Alder have participated in the Avon Breast Cancer walk and serve on the board of directors for WomenCare, a nonprofit organization that serves Bay Area women coping with cancer.
Chiropractic practice opens
Comprehensive Wellness Chiropractic will celebrate its grand opening on April 19, 4:30 p.m. M. Blaine Kingsbury, D.C., will open his practice at 409 Alberto Way, suite D.
