The Los Gatos Seventh-Day Adventist Church invites the community to attend a performance by guitarist Rick Foster on April 28, at 7 p.m. While he has performed solo for the past two decades in churches throughout the country, for 2001 he is teaming up with Ben and Jamie Kruse, who will also appear on April 28.

Jamie, a vocalist and songwriter who plans to release her first CD this year, will perform a variety of duets for guitar and voice with Foster. Ben Kruse will use the spoken word to recount with how his faith helped him break with and recover from his destructive addictions.

Foster's program consists of original compositions, spirituals, gospel favorites, timeless hymns and contemporary Christian music. Some songs have appeared on his many albums, including Hymns for Classic Guitar, Season of Joy, Sacred Duos for Guitar and Violin and his latest release, Best of Rick Foster--Close to Heaven.

The Los Gatos Seventh-Day Adventist Church is at 57 Broadway. People of all ages and beliefs are welcome at the concert. For more information, call 408.354.1733.
