    Police Report

    Warrant Served--April 4, 11:13 p.m. Police stopped a man who was driving a red Mazda RX7 on Pollard Road. The man had been driving with a suspended license, so the police had his car impounded. The man was taken to jail, where he was arrested because there was a warrant out from Sunnyvale police for $10,000 for driving without a license and having a suspended license.

    Forgery--April 5, 2:21 p.m. The Los Gatos Surgical Center received fake prescriptions on paper from Walgreen's clinics in Las Vegas and San Jose. A report was filed.

    Unstable Person--April 5, 11:13 p.m. A woman called the police, saying that she heard a clicking noise in the kitchen. She said that her husband and son were at home, but no one answered when she called out. She also told police that her husband wanted her to go to the hospital because of her breakdowns. The woman voluntarily went to Kaiser Hospital with her daughter.

    Possession of a Controlled Substance--April 7, 6:18 a.m. A blue Thunderbird was parked on Thomas Drive, near Howes Drive; the engine was not running, but the headlights were on. A man was passed out in the front seat. The man was in possession of drugs. He was arrested and taken to jail. The Thunderbird was impounded.

    Theft--April 7, 5:38 p.m. Eight juveniles took a park bench from Belgatos Lane and was carrying it up the hill at Bacigalupi Drive. The kids were sliding down the top of the hill and Belgatos Park on the bench. Police confronted the youths, who gave the bench back.

    Driving with a Suspended License--April 9, 5:19 p.m. A person called police to report a drunken roommate who had left the house. The roommate drove away from Shannon Road, and police stopped him at Ferris and Spencer avenues. The man had been driving with a suspended license, but was not DUI. His car was impounded and a report was filed.

    Battery--April 10, 10:31 a.m. A man went to another man's house and hit him several times before leaving. The victim had had an affair with the suspect's wife. A report was filed.

    Warrant Served--April 10, 4:41 p.m. A man was driving his van on Lark Avenue and Los Gatos Boulevard. Someone called the police, saying the driver was drunk. Police stopped the van and found that the man had two warrants from San Jose police: $7,500 for being under the influence of drugs and having drug paraphernalia; $406 for a traffic warrant. The man was arrested.

    911--April 11, 8:51 p.m. A caller dialed 911 and then hung up. When the 911 operator tried to return the call, someone picked up the phone and promptly hung up again. When police tried to enter the home where the call had been made from, there was no answer, but they could hear a woman crying inside. Police forced entry into the house, where they found a woman who had taken pills and wine. Fire and ambulance were contacted.
