Los Gatan becomes a certified senior advisor
Lenore "Lenny" Shelley, a Los Gatos resident since 1946 and longtime educator, has received the designation of Certified Senior Advisor from the Colorado-based Society of Certified Senior Advisors. For the past five years, Shelley has been active in retirement planning.
Last year, she decided to become a CSA in order to better understand the various needs and issues concerning senior citizens in today's society. Following a comprehensive study program, classroom sessions and a written exam, Shelley received her new title on Feb. 20. Along with her CSA practice, she will participate in research and a continuing education program throughout the coming year.
