Celebration of the Arts

Guest conductors, from left, Lucy Wedemeyer, Judy Peckler and Joanne Rodgers join guest pianist and Los Gatos High School assistant principal Craig Heimbichner in rehearsing for 'Celebration of the Arts.' The event, which takes place May 1 at 7:30 p.m. in the school's auditorium, features the LGHS Symphonic Band in a joint concert with the San Jose Wind Symphony. Students' work in the fields of photography, ceramics and art will be displayed in the lobby. The evening's proceeds benefit the Peckler Memorial Foundation, the Wedemeyer Foundation and the LGHS instrumental music department. Tickets are available at the door.
