Dreams Through Art
This obelisk, on display at the Forbes Mill Regional History Museum, is part of Los Gatos Museum Association's annual Children's Art Show, which runs through May 7. Children and teenagers from the Children's Shelter, directed by artist Ruth Tunstall Grant, collaborated to craft the mosaic, which tells of young people's dreams through words and images. Along with many submissions from the shelter's children, the show also features art in all mediums from students of the Loma Prieta elementary school and C.T. English middle school.
