    LG Gunners

    The Los Gatos Gunners, a boys under-16 Class 3 soccer team, is looking for goalkeepers and defenders for the coming season. For information, call Tony Cuschieri at 354-3140.

    Footbag Festival

    The 14th annual Western Regional Footbag Championships for Cystic Fibrosis will be held May 29-31 at Stanford University. More than 150 competitors are expected, and new players are welcome. For information, call 1-650-366-5554 or check their Web site at www.footbag.org/events.

    Los Gatos Soccer

    The Los Gatos United Soccer League will hold registration for the fall season on May 4 and 12, 6-9 p.m. each night, in the cafeteria at Fisher Middle School.

    Adults interested in serving as volunteer coaches and referees should register on April 29, 5:30-8 p.m., at Stuft Pizza on Los Gatos Boulevard.

    Football Signups

    It's time to start thinking about the fall Pop Warner Football season, and youngsters ages 8-15 living in Los Gatos, Saratoga and Campbell can sign up as players or cheerleaders.

    Players must have been born between Aug. 1, 1983, and July 31, 1991, and 15-year-old players must be under 125 pounds.

    Wedemeyer Gala

    The first annual Charlie Wedemeyer Celebration Gala, honoring outstanding Bay Area high school seniors, will be held May 20, 6 p.m., in the Imperial Ballroom at the Fairmont Hotel.
