    Recital set at St. Andrew's

    Mezzo-soprano Natalie Wilson will perform a recital on May 21, at 7:30 p.m. at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Saratoga. She will appear with Danielle DeSwert at the piano, Corey Head, tenor and Joanna Pinckney, viola.

    The repertoire includes Brahms Viola Songs, excerpts from La Cenerentola by Rossini and songs by Pauline Viardot-Garcia, Paul Bowles and Stephen Sondheim.

    Wilson, a Los Gatos native, resides in San Francisco. She performs regularly with Bay Area opera companies, including Pocket Opera, Townsend Opera Players and the Pacifica Heritage council. She holds a master of music degree in voice performance from the University of Colorado at Boulder and is on the music faculty at Mission College in Santa Clara.

    Her parents, Nathan and Carolyn Wilson, still reside in Los Gatos.
