Marie Rose Guild to stage annual Strawberry Lunch
The Los Gatos Marie Rose Guild will hold its annual Strawberry Luncheon on May 25, at Convent of the Holy Names, Los Gatos. The luncheon tickets are $17.50 per reservation and include hors d'oeuvres and punch served in the patio garden, a crafts and collectibles sale and luncheon, as well as many door prizes.
This luncheon celebrates the anniversary of the arrival of the Sisters of the Holy Names in California on May 10, 1868.

The Marie Rose Guild of the Sisters of the Holy Names began in Oakland 50 years ago. Today, guild volunteers continue the tradition of luncheons, crafts and collectible sales and other events in both northern and southern California to support the retired and infirm nuns living at the convent in Los Gatos.
