    For The Future

Teacher Kathy Severyn works with students Sean Altman (left) and Eric Omanoff during an earth and space science class lab in the new science and home economics building at Los Gatos High School. The district will host an open house for the building on May 21, 4 p.m., in the quad area, between the new building and the pool. Community members will be able to tour the new building until about 5 p.m., before a dedication ceremony. The new building, which opened on April 15, is about 44,000 square feet and contains 14 classrooms, a teacher conference room, teacher offices, storage areas and a science library.
