    Story of a Stage Mom

    Through May 23, Theatre in the Mountains presents the musical 'Gypsy,' which tells the story of an ambitious stage mother, Rose, who pushes her daughters to become vaudeville stars. One grows up to become the famous Gypsy Rose Lee. Seen here are the "Toreadorables"--Megan Fredrickson, Sarah Ignatius and Sylvia Benson--joined by Elena Praskin as Gypsy Rose Lee. Performances take place at the Loma Prieta Community Center, 23800 Summit Road, Los Gatos. For show times and ticket prices, call 353-9999.
