Row, row, row your boat...

The Los Gatos Rowing Club's varsity girl's four team was rowing its boat, but it was anything but gently down the stream. Rather, the Gatos girls were rowing their boat fast enough to win the gold medal in the varsity women's coxed quad race at the Southwest Junior Regional Rowing Championships at Lake Natoma in Sacramento. Members of the team include Jill Weinberg (coxswain), Susan Kim (four stroke), Megan Cooke (three seat), Rebecca Dirkmaat (two seat) and Jamie Inman (one bow). The girls, coached by Mike McCoy, also placed third in the women's varsity four race. Los Gatos Rowing Club placed second overall in the team standings.
