Kids enjoy their 'first art class'

'My First Art Class,' a program offered through the Los Gatos-Saratoga Department of Community Education and Recreation, builds children's social skills as well as their creativity.

Each weekly class revolves around a different theme, reflected by various arts and crafts activities and mediums. Children are free to try their hands at any of five art stations set up around the room. Each class ends with singing and dancing.

The next class runs July 13-Aug. 3. Class size is limited. To register, call 408.354.8700.
