    It happens on Broadway

    Big City Beat themes the 17th annual pops concert at Los Gatos High School May 27 and 28 at 8 p.m. both nights in Prentiss Brown Auditorium on the
    school campus. The LGHS choir, Jazz Purr and the Fisher chorus will be featured in a program of music representing Broadway past and present. In rehearsal are members of Jazz Purr (from left) Dan Harris, Jordan Kapan, Ruby Aikman, Kim Tanner, Georgeann O'Brien, Gavin Johnson, Alyssa Henrichsen and Jenny Levy. The show is produced by the LGHS choirs, and directed by Diana Pleasant, chairwoman of the school's performing arts department. Tickets, priced at $10 for reserved seating and $8 general admission, are available by calling 354-2730, ext. 240. Tickets will be available at the box office one hour before performances.
