Los Gatos Weekly-TimesPolice ReportSuspicious vehicle--May 11, 8:26 a.m., on Cambrian View Way. The caller noticed a man and woman in a parked blue sports car and suspected they were having sex. Police searched the area but did not locate the car; apparently the couple left right before police arrived. Battery--May 14, 1:37 a.m., on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. The caller sustained a broken nose after being hit by another bar patron. The suspect fled, but the caller had some information about him. Police took a report. Suspicious people--May 14, 6:38 p.m., on Montgomery Street. The caller saw two men on bicycles who appeared to be peering into mailboxes. Police discovered the men were putting fliers in the mailboxes. Theft--May 15, 6:52 a.m., on Pinewood Lane. Someone removed the wheels from the caller's car overnight. Police took a report. Juvenile disturbance--May 15, 10:23 p.m., on Carlton Avenue. The caller complained of young people making a lot of noise in a park and possibly breaking things. Police contacted the juveniles, found they hadn't damaged anything and sent them home. Malicious mischief--May 16, 8:10 a.m., on Union Avenue. Both of the caller's trucks were egged the previous night; the caller wanted it documented for insurance purposes. Police took a report. Suspicious people--May 16, 8:38 p.m., on Daves Avenue. Two people dressed all in black hid when the caller walked by, then came out of hiding when he had passed. Police discovered the subjects were just two youths playing a commando-type game. Auto burglary--May 18, 7:09 a.m., on Weldwood Court. Someone cut through the convertible top of the caller's car overnight and stole a cellular phone. The caller had heard the alarm go off in the middle of the night but ignored it. Police took a report. Indecent exposure--May 19, 11:15 a.m., at Teakwood Avenue and Pollard Road. A passing driver called police to report a man standing on a balcony and flashing passing drivers. Police arrested him.
