Summer sports camps for kids

The Los Gatos Wildcat Summer Basketball Camp returns to the Los Gatos High School gym June 15-19 under the direction of Gatos varsity coach Jim Marino.

Sessions are scheduled for 9 a.m.-noon for players ages 7-12 and 1-3 p.m. for players ages 13-15. The registration fee is $50 for the one-week session.

The ninth annual Wildcat Wrestling Camp will return to Los Gatos for three sessions this summer.

The camp begins with a session for beginner to intermediate wrestlers, ages 7-12, on June 29-July 3. The second session is for intermediate wrestlers in grades 6-9, and it runs July 6-10. The final session is set for July 13-17 for advanced wrestlers (those with high school or two years of junior high school experience) in grades 8-12.

Camps run 1:30-4:30 p.m., and the cost is $110 per week. Each session is limited to the first 26 wrestlers. For more information, call Scott Downs at 354-2730.

The annual Sid Williams Basketball Camp returns to the court at Fisher Middle School July 13-17. The camp is designed for "the motivated player" entering the fifth-ninth grades.

Session I will be held from 1 to 3:30 p.m. each day for boys and girls entering fifth and sixth grades. Session 2 for boys and girls going into the seventh-ninth grades will be held from 4 to 7 p.m.
