Partnership expands a local start-up firm
Los Gatos start-up cyberManor, founded in 1999 by Monte Sereno resident Gordon van Zuiden, has recently been named a certified installer and sales partner for BeAtHome.com Inc., a developer of an Internet-based home automation, services and security system.
BeAtHome's system directs and interacts with wireless devices in the home to create a setup that allows homeowners to manage their home from anywhere, through a secure personal website.
"I see the BeAtHome product as a natural extension of the suite of Internet solutions that we already offer our customers," van Zuiden says, referring to cyberManor's services to design and implement interactive home computer networks that are enhanced with broadband Internet access.
