Pop Warner

Openings remain for players and cheerleaders for the fall season in the Los Gatos Pop Warner Football Association.

The Los Gatos Panthers has openings for players ages 12-14 who wiegh between 120-145 pounds. For more information, call 270-1443.

Girls ages 8-14 who live in the Los Gatos, Saratoga, Campbell and Willow Glen school districts can sign up to become cheerleaders in the fall season. For more information, call 353-8697.

Basketball Camp

The Los Gatos Wildcat Summer Basketball Camp returns to the Los Gatos High School gym June 15-19 under the direction of Gatos varsity coach Jim Marino.

Sessions are scheduled for 9 a.m.-noon for players ages 7-12 and 1-3 p.m. for players ages 13-15. The registration fee is $50 for the one-week session.

The camp will emphasize fundamentals in shooting, passing, dribbling, defense and team play with daily drills and games. The camp will also feature appearances by guest coaches from throughout the Bay Area.

Wrestling Camp

The ninth annual Wildcat Wrestling Camp will return to Los Gatos for three sessions this summer.

The camp begins with a session for beginner to intermediate wrestlers, ages 7-12, on June 29-July 3.

The second session is for intermediate wrestlers in grades 6-9, and it runs July 6-10. The final session is set for July 13-17 for advanced wrestlers (those with high school or two years of junior high school experience) in grades 8-12.

Camps run from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., and the cost is $110 per week. Each session is limited to the first 26 wrestlers. For more information, call Scott Downs at 354-2730.
