Councilmembers deadlocked May 19 on whether to loan town funds to Community Housing Developers for the apartments. At issue was the suitability of the site. Steve Blanton, absent from the May meeting, will break the tie. The council meets at 7:30 p.m. in the Town Council Chambers 110 E. Main St. Pomp and circumstance It's time for the class of 1997 to take a walk on graduation hill. Commencement ceremonies, traditionally held on the knoll in front of Los Gatos High School, are scheduled for 6 p.m. June 13. High school officials recommend that spectators get seats at least an hour before the ceremony. The event usually draws 6,000-8,000, although seating will be available for only 3,000. Some 325 seniors will receive their diplomas that day. At Leigh High School, a graduation ceremony is scheduled for June 12 at 5 p.m. About 359 graduating seniors will receive their diplomas during a ceremony on the football field. Boulevard Plan The Los Gatos Boulevard Plan and boulevard design standards will be presented for public review June 18 at a special meeting of the Planning Commission. The Planning Department will present conceptual drawings approximating what the boulevard would look like under the plan. The meeting is set for 7:30 p.m. in the Town Council Chambers, 110 E. Main St.
