Giants Clinic The San Jose Giants will hold a clinic for baseball players, ages 8-18, on June 7, 3-4:15 p.m., prior to their game against Lancaster at San Jose Municipal Stadium. Clinic registration runs from 2-3 p.m., and all clinic participants receive admission to the night's California League game. For more information, call 297-1435 or 277-5666. Strawberry Run The Strawberry Festival Run will be held June 8 at West Valley College in Saratoga. The registration fee for the 5K race is $22, and proceeds will go to the Bay Area Lupus Foundation. For more information, call 954-8600. Holy City Race They'll be running through the Santa Cruz Mountains on June 15 when the annual Holy City Race returns to the hills above Los Gatos. The race begins at 7:30 a.m. in Holy City on Old Santa Cruz Highway, opposite Redwood Estates. The registration fee is $3. For more information, call 435-2820. Gunners need soccer players The Los Gatos Gunners, a boys' under-14 competition team from Los Gatos United Soccer, are looking for midfielders and defenders for the coming season.
