Marking a Golden Anniversary
Celebrating 50 years
Longtime Los Gatans Mike and Bette Pestka celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on April 15, at a mass at St. Mary's Church in Los Gatos, followed by a catered dinner in their home. Mike is a retired Intel engineer; Bette is retired from the former General Telephone of Los Gatos. Joining the couple at their party were their five children, Julie Pestka-Schardt of San Jose; Jeff Pestka of Aloha, Ore.; J. Pestka of San Jose, Joan Pestka Vanderveen of Longmont, Colo., and Greg Pestka of Boulder, Colo.; also two grandchildren, as well as Amy Moore Lemm, the matron of honor at the Pestka wedding which took place in Chicago.
