    Town needs many interested citizens

Los Gatos has a slew of openings on various commissions, committees and boards, but few applicants have stepped forward.

Openings exist on the arts commission, board of appeals, county council on aging, the library board, trails and bikeways committee, parking commission, redevelopment committee, news rack committee and possibly the planning commission.

The deadlines for applications vary. Anyone interested in applying can call the town clerk's office at 408.354.6834.

Subdivision on Nina Court back to planning

The planning commission has set a public hearing June 28 on a request to subdivide a residential parcel at 130 Nina Court into four lots. The proposal was considered by the town council and remanded to the commission for reconsideration.

Information is on file in the planning department office. The meeting is set for 7:30 p.m. in council chambers
