Former Los Gatan plays organ at church concert

Concert set for June 17

On June 17 at 7:30 p.m., the Presbyterian Church of Los Gatos holds an organ concert--assisted by the Chancel Brass Ensemble--featuring works by Bach, Boehm, Mendelssohn, Pachebel and Vierne.

The guest organist is former Los Gatos resident Mark Anderson, who is currently on the organ faculty at Westminster Choir College in Princeton, N.J. He holds a bachelor's degree in church music and a master's degree in organ performance. Anderson is also director of music ministries at Chestnut Hill Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia.

The church is located at 16575 Shannon Road. There is no charge for the concert. Child care is available. For more information, call Dr. Ellen Davis at 356-6156.
