Police Report

Juvenile disturbance--June 3, 1:56 p.m., at Pollard Road and Highway 85. The caller saw three boys throwing rocks at cars passing below on the highway. The boys were gone when police arrived.

Disturbance--June 4, 1:12 p.m., on W. Mozart Avenue. The caller was concerned about neighbors who were screaming and yelling. Police contacted the neighbors, who were just having an argument, and counseled them.

Residential burglary--June 4, 2:06 p.m., on University Avenue. Someone stole a couch and mountain bike from the caller's garage. Police took a report.

Theft--June 5, 2:45 p.m., on Lynn Avenue. The caller wanted police to know that an unknown thief has been stealing roses from the front yard, usually between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.

Disturbance--June 5, 5:18 p.m., on Lora Drive. The caller was concerned that someone would get hurt by three people shooting BB guns. They were gone when police arrived.

Noise disturbance--June 6, 11:29 p.m., on Pennsylvania Avenue. The caller complained of a loud party in a neighbor's back yard. The caller had already asked them to quiet down, but to no avail. Police discovered a group of young people telling stories and warned them to be quiet.

Drunk in public--June 11, 1:37 a.m., on Kennedy Road. The caller was concerned about loud shouting in the area. Police discovered an intoxicated man and arrested him for public drunkenness.
