Monte Sereno mayor plans a coffee chat

Monte Sereno Mayor Jack Lucas plans another "Coffee With the Mayor" event at 9:30 a.m. July 8 at Monte Sereno City Hall.

Lucas will be available to chat with constituents, answer questions and listen to concerns.

Street repairs will jam traffic

The town of Los Gatos plans street repairs at the following locations June 23-27:

N. Santa Cruz Avenue from Almendra Avenue to Los Gatos-Saratoga Road; College Avenue from E. Main Street to Villa Avenue;

Blossom Hill Road from Camellia Terrace to Camino Del Cerro and Old Blossom Hill Road from Atwood Court to Mary Way.

Road crews will remove and replace damaged sections of the roadway, and traffic will be subject to delays and detours. Town maintenance officials suggest using other routes between 6 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Detour signs will be posted. To find out where crews will work on a specific day, call 399-5770 between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Tom Campbell plans town hall meetings

Congressman Tom Campbell will conduct meetings with 15th district constituents June 14.

The congressman will give a brief update on what is happening in the 105th Congress but will spend as much time as possible answering constituent questions.

From 2 to 3 p.m., Campbell will be in the Saratoga High School cafeteria, 20300 Herriman Ave., Saratoga.

From 4 to 5 p.m. Campbell will be at Rolling Hills Middle School cafeteria 1585 More Ave., Los Gatos.
