Police Report

Prowler--June 11, 1:46 a.m., on Sycamore Court. The caller heard scraping and bumping sounds in the back yard. Police checked the yard and discovered the prowler was only a cat.

Reckless driving--June 11, 1:14 p.m., on Blackwell Court. The caller wanted to alert police that a white truck and blue sports car frequently speed through the neighborhood. Police will be on the lookout for the speeders.

Noise disturbance--June 11, 9:04 p.m., on Worcester Loop. The caller complained of a loud party with 10 vehicles in the area. Police contacted the party host and found that the revelers were leaving.

Alarm--June 12, 8:24 a.m., on University Avenue. Police responded to a business alarm and discovered a delivery person accidentally activated it.

Drunk in public--June 13, 12:36 a.m., on Bennett Way. A man was walking along a driveway and screaming at dogs. Police arrested him for public drunkenness.

Suspicious person--June 13, 7:57 a.m., on E. Main Street. The caller was concerned about a man sleeping on duffel bags. Police roused him and sent him on his way.

Malicious mischief--June 13, 11:53 a.m., on Thomas Drive. The caller's car was egged the previous night; this is the second time this has happened recently. Police will give the area extra patrol checks.

Driving under the influence--June 14, 1:35 a.m., on Los Gatos-Saratoga Road. Following a traffic stop, police arrested a man for DUI.

Juvenile disturbance--June 14, 4:09 p.m., on Union Avenue. A group of boys were in-line skating and skateboarding in a parking lot even after the caller asked them to stop. Police counseled them and sent them on their way.

Accident--June 16, 2:47 p.m., on Knowles Drive. Police took a report at the site of a collision between two sports cars and called a tow truck for one of them.
