Mountain winegrowers are offering summer passport
The Santa Cruz Mountains Winegrowers' Association is holding its annual Passport to the Wineries of the Santa Cruz Mountains event on July 15, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some 20 wineries, half of which are not normally open to the public, will offer tours of their vineyards and cellars, wine tasting and opportunities to meet the winemakers. The vineyards will also be selling limited production premium wines, often at special prices.
One passport admits the holder to any or all of the wineries. Holders who don't make it to all of the wineries during this event will have the chance to use their passports again during another designated day in the fall.
Passports are $15 each and may be purchased at any participating winery or from the Santa Cruz Mountains Winegrowers' Association office. For information, call 831.479.WINE.
