    Obituaries

    Duff Thrasher

    Duff Thrasher of Los Gatos died on May 29, at the age of 44.

    Born Aug. 11, 1955, in Evansville, Ind., Thrasher owned and operated Thrasher Termite and Pest Control.

    Survivors include wife Janet Thrasher of Los Gatos; children Lindsay, Garrett and Douglas Thrasher of Los Gatos; mother and stepfather Margaret and George Goble of Surprise, Ariz.; sister Terry Luce of Cameron Park; brothers Scott Thrasher of San Jose and Todd Thrasher of Auburn; and a large extended family.

    Memorial services have been held, with interment at Los Gatos Memorial park. Donations can be made to the Duff Thrasher Memorial Fund, Acct. #005256347, Bank of the West, 308 N. Santa Cruz Ave., Los Gatos, 95030.

    Norma Olson

    Norma Ruth Olson died in her Los Gatos home on June 28, at the age of 77. A native of Oklahoma, she was a homemaker.

    Olson was preceded in death by her husband Glen Olson. Survivors include sons Michael Meisner of Los Gatos and Roy Meisner of Vallejo; daughters Diana Duarte of Ione and Glenda Leman of San Jose; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and siblings Bobbe Belleveau and Clytelle Patt, both of Oregon.

    Memorial services have been held, with interment at Los Gatos Memorial Park. Donations can be made to the American Lung Association of Santa Clara County, 1469 Park Ave., San Jose, 95126, or to the Odyssey Hospice, 25 N. 14th St., Suite 610, San Jose, 95112.
