LG Little League heads for tournament championships

    Corporate Nationals

    Top athletes from IBM, Microsoft and other corporations across the country will get together for the Track and Field Corporate Nationals on July 17-18 at the Los Gatos High School track.

    Action runs from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. each day, with Saturday's competition beginning with a 5K run, and Sunday's events starting with a 10K. Track and field events will be held throughout the day at the LG track. There is no admission charge.

    Football Camp

    The first annual Catts Football Camp for boys in the sixth through eighth grades will be held July 19-23, 1:30-4:30 p.m. each day, at Los Gatos High School's Helm Field. Los Gatos varsity football coach Butch Cattolico will serve as camp director.

    The cost for the camp, co-sponsored the Los Gatos Athletic Association, is $100 per player. For more information, call Cattolico at 358-3020 or 354-2730, ext. 274.

    Rowing Camp

    The Los Gatos Rowing Club will host a summer camp for boys and girls entering the seventh and eighth grades.

    The week-long camp, held at the Lexington Reservoir boathouse, will run July 19-23, 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. each day. The cost of $175 per person includes instruction, lunch each day and a camp T-shirt.

    Soccer Camp

    The Los Gatos United Soccer League will hold a summer soccer camp Aug. 9-13 for players ages 5-15 of all ability levels.
