Los Gatos Weekly-TimesLos Gatos to host district tourneyTop Pony League baseball teams from throughout the area will visit Los Gatos this week when the LG Pony League hosts the district tournament at Fisher Middle School. The 14-year-old district tourney begins July 15 in Los Gatos. Games will be played Tuesday through Friday, 5:30 p.m. each day, with four games Saturday (9:30 a.m., noon, 2:30 p.m., 5 p.m.) and three more on Sunday (10 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m.). The tournament continues July 21 and 22 with a pair of 5:30 p.m. games at Fisher. The tourney championship game is set for July 23, 5:30 p.m. An "if necessary" game is slated for July 24. Los Gatos will send two all-star teams into the district 14-year-old tournament.
