Los Gatos Weekly-TimesSports BriefsLG hosts tourney Little League's top teams will be in Los Gatos when the local Little League hosts the Divisional Tournament that begins July 26 at Baggerly Field. The winners of all the sections in Northern California will converge on Los Gatos for the six-team, double-elimination tournament. The winner of the tourney advances to the Western Regional in San Bernadino, with that winner moving on to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa. Union winning Mathias Cisowski tossed a shutout to lead the Union Little League 9-year-olds to an 11-0 win over Saratoga in the District 12 all-star tournament. Members of the team include Thomas Watkins, Steven Rodas, Travis Okamoto, Cory Sampson, Jamie Wagner, Cisowski, Arian Sarraf, Pat Brown, Justin Gladfelter, Brendon Kane, Damonn Ronsvalle, and Sam Hoffman. Ed Cisowski is the team's manager and Mike Rodas and Mike Silva are his coaches. Coaches needed Los Gatos athletic director Butch Cattolico is looking for coaches for the girls' softball team and the girls' and boys' swimming teams for the 1998 spring season. Call Cattolico at 354-2730, ext. 274. Pop Warner The Los Gatos Pop Warner football organization will hold final signups for players and cheerleaders on July 19, 10 a.m., at Fisher Middle School. Signups will be followed by a meeting for parents from 10:30 a.m. to noon. The organization is for youngsters ages 8-15 who live in Los Gatos, Saratoga, Campbell and Willow Glen.
