Drunk in public--July 5, 3:31 p.m. on University Avenue. A caller reported a transient sleeping near a store. Police contacted and arrested him for public drunkenness.
Neighborhood disturbance--July 5, 10:36 p.m. on Robert Road. A neighbor complained of loud music and talking from a party. Police contacted the host, who shut down the party.
Meet the citizen--July 8, 4:30 p.m. on E. Main Street. Someone came to the police station regarding problems with a "control-type" roommate. An officer gave advice.
Suspicious circumstances--July 9, 5:10 p.m. on Short Road. A caller, home alone, told police she was frightened and heard noises. Police arrived and counseled her; it apparently was windy and she had been watching a scary movie.
Possible arson--July 9, 10:25 p.m. at Wedgewood Avenue and Wimbledon Drive. A caller saw a small group of youths with a torch or flare, tampering with railroad-crossing arms. Police took a report and sent them away with warnings.
