    MSL Soccer Camp Signups

    The Los Gatos United Soccer League, in cooperation with Major League Soccer, will host a Major League Soccer Camp Aug. 14-18 at Fisher Middle School.

    Camp hours are 5-6:30 p.m. for players ages 5-6, and the cost is $56 per player. For players over that age, camp hours are 5-8 p.m. and the cost is $97 per player.

    Each player receives an individual player evaluation, a Major League Soccer Camps T-shirt and ball, an MLS gift and a free companion ticket to an MLS game.

    Dammit Breakfast

    The Los Gatos Lions' Club will sponsor a pancake breakfast following the Aug. 12 running of the Dammit Run in Los Gatos. Proceeds from the breakfast will go towards fund-raising efforts to build a new swimming pool at Los Gatos High School.

    Soccer Tryouts

    The Los Gatos Lightning, a boys under-11 select soccer team, will hold tryouts in Los Gatos on July 20, 21 and 31 at Oak Meadow Park and on July 24 at Fisher Middle School. Tryouts begin at 7 p.m. each night.

    Coach David deMilo is looking for fast, skillful players from Los Gatos and Saratoga who are not on another CYSA roster, who were born between Aug. 1, 1989, and July 31, 1990, and who have a passion for the game. The team is especially interested in goalkeepers.

    Youth Football

    Signups for the 2000 Los Gatos Pop Warner football season are now being accepted.
