Los Gatos Weekly-TimesBusiness BriefCommunity Hospital's CEO receives top award Tenet Healthcare Corporation, the parent company of Community Hospital of Los Gatos, recently recognized hospital Chief Executive Officer Truman Gates for outstanding leadership and performance during the past year by naming him to the Circle of Excellence. Nominations for this award, which is given annually, are submitted by company regional executive leaders and reviewed by upper management from within Tenet's 130-hospital system. Michael H. Focht Sr., Tenet president and chief operating officer, said "Truman exemplifies the mission and values upheld by Tenet, such as developing innovative programs that put the needs of our patients first [and] forging strong relationships with others in Los Gatos and surrounding communities who share our values." Community Hospital of Los Gatos, a 164-bed facility, is accredited by the Joint Commission of Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and includes specialty services for arthritis, spine problems, joint care, rehabilitation, kidney stones and cancer.
