Benjamin, Lisenbee

Gary and Carol Miyahara of Los Gatos announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Louise Lisenbee, to Jeffrey Alan Benjamin, son of Jim and Joanne Benjamin of Los Gatos.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Los Gatos High School and the University of Oregon. She is a quality-improvement assistant with Northwest Mental Health Association in Eugene, Ore.

Her fiancé is a graduate of Los Gatos High School and the University of Oregon. He works in promotions and client services for the Eugene Emeralds baseball team; he will also be attending graduate school this fall to pursue an M.B.A.

They plan a September 1998 wedding.

Hernandez, Jackson

Dr. Stephen H. Jackson of Monte Sereno and Susan Singer Jackson of Palo Alto announce the engagement of their daughter, Eva Michelle Jackson, to John Benjamin Hernandez, son of Dr. Jean Hernandez and Dr. John P. Hernandez of Chapel Hill, N.C.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Los Gatos High School, Harvard University and UCLA. She is the outreach program manager for the National Cancer Institute's Cancer Information Service in Los Angeles.

Her fiancé is a graduate of Chapel Hill High School and the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. He is currently a doctoral fellow at the Rand Graduate School of Advanced Policy Studies in Los Angeles.

They plan a September wedding.
