Police Report

Malicious mischief--July 16, 7:56 a.m., on Pennsylvania Avenue. Someone shot paint pellets at the caller's house the previous night. Police took a report.

Juvenile disturbance--July 16, 10:15 a.m., at Ohlone Court and Roberts Road. The caller was uneasy about several teenagers hanging around a vehicle, smoking and talking. Police contacted the juveniles and found they were waiting for a friend in the area.

Threats--July 17, 12:29 p.m., on Los Gatos-Saratoga Road. The caller said that an individual threatened him and harassed him the day before and wanted to speak with an officer. Police took a report.

Suspicious circumstances--July 18, 1:37 a.m., on Cooper Court. The caller saw two men carrying flashlights and going through a dumpster. Police counseled the men and sent them on their way.

Commercial burglary--July 18, 5:35 a.m., on E. Main Street. The caller got to work, discovered the alarm had not been set the night before and noticed a door was propped open. Among the missing items were $35, a fax machine, two stereos and a copy machine. Police took a report.

Suspicious animals--July 20, 12:32 p.m., on S. Santa Cruz Avenue. The caller reported that he saw a man with three or four boa constrictors in the Town Plaza fountain. He and the snakes were gone when police arrived.
