Pretty as a Picture
As the town of Los Gatos continues through the elimination process in the Prettiest Painted Place in America competition, Debbie Zimmer (left), decorative and painting consultant with the Rohm and Haas Paint Quality Institute, Philadelphia, Pa., made a visit to our little town to see how the real thing meshed with the photographs sent by Gary Schloh (right). He submitted the photographs on behalf of the Town of Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce. Los Gatos has made the first cut and is now on a short list in the Northwest portion of the contest, competing with La Conner, Wash., and Eureka, Calif. The Rohm and Haas Paint Quality Institute is the contest sponsor.
