Public notice sites updated

The town has updated the three posting places for public notices, meeting agendas and other information. The kiosk in front of the post office was abandoned in favor of the bulletin board outside of the Planning Department at Town Hall.

The other two locations, the circulation desk in the library and outside of the clerk's office on the second floor of Town Hall, have not been changed.

Openings on town boards and commissions are advertised on KCAT-Channel 6, and legal advertisements appear in the Los Gatos Weekly-Times classified section.

Police Dept. is looking for VIPs

The Los Gatos-Saratoga Police Department is looking for a few good volunteers--for the Volunteers in Policing program.

Positions geared to match volunteer requests are available throughout the program. Volunteer duties include graffiti patrol, crime prevention and fingerprinting.

Call Community Service Officer Gwen Cross at 354-6842 for more information.
