Car towed for a good cause

Los Gatan Greg Gaches takes one last look at the 1969 Porsche 911 he and wife Deborah donated to the Battered Women's Alliance. Lori Walston, house manager of the nonprofit organization's transitional home for women and children, prepares to secure the classic sports car to the tow truck she drives and operates. Walston herself was once assisted by the Alliance. Part of the group's fundraising comes from donated vehicles, which it fixes up (if necessary), smog-tests and resells on a lot in San Jose.
