Building a Field House of Dreams

Roberto Ramos of San Jose carries rebar while working on the new field house at Los Gatos High School. The project is part of the Los Gatos-Saratoga Joint Union High School District's $79 million Measure B school bond project, which voters passed in June 1998. The new field house will have new boys' and girls' shower, locker rooms, a new team stretching room, restrooms and a new concession stand. LG-SJUHSD Director of Building Projects Richard Meyer said he hopes to have the building ready and open for the start of school on Aug. 30, although some of the inside work will have to completed during the school year.
